Overview

VibeLang is an open-source project licensed under Apache 2.0. This Privacy Policy describes how the VibeLang website (www.thevibelang.org) handles information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting as little data as possible.

Information We Collect

The VibeLang website does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising networks. We do not collect personal information through forms, accounts, or sign-ups.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server logs when you visit the site. These logs may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version (user agent)
  • Pages visited and timestamps
  • Referring URL

These logs are retained by Vercel in accordance with their Privacy Policy and are used solely for infrastructure monitoring and abuse prevention.

Cookies

This website does not set any first-party cookies. No third-party tracking cookies are used. Your browser may cache static assets (fonts, stylesheets, scripts) as part of normal HTTP caching behavior, but this does not involve tracking.

Third-Party Services

The website links to or relies on the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — Hosting and CDN. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • GitHub — Source code hosting, issue tracking, and discussions. Subject to GitHub's Privacy Statement.
  • Google Fonts — Web fonts (Orbitron, Rajdhani, Share Tech Mono) are loaded via Next.js font optimization, which self-hosts font files. No requests are made to Google servers at runtime.

Open-Source Contributions

If you contribute to VibeLang on GitHub, your contributions (commits, pull requests, issues, comments) are governed by GitHub's terms and are publicly visible. Your Git identity (name and email in commits) will be part of the public repository history.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about data processed by our hosting provider, please refer to Vercel's privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
